What is meditation?
Meditation is an invitation to experience life in the present moment by bringing attention to our awareness. Its purpose is to separate our awareness from our mind and slowly develop a deeper connection to our innate spirituality.
Meditation is a journey to finding out who we truly are as a human being. It is a journey that takes us beyond the intellectual realm into the experiential realm. It leads us to developing an art of living.
Benefits of meditation include stress reduction, relaxation, healthier relationship with one's mind, reduced physical tension, toning of the nervous system, staying centered even in the midst of turmoil among many others.
Edita, I just want to let you know that I went for my MRI yesterday. It was my first time in that big machine. Anxiety and panic took over when I first went in. I had to stay in there for 45 minutes!! But I have to say, thanks for the relaxation and breathing techniques, I was able to run the course with very minimal problems. I did well and I am very proud of myself.
